International Women’s Day
Each year, we host a special event for International Women's Day, celebrating the women of the backstretch community. The event includes a lineup of guest speakers who inspire and empower attendees. The event features access to a variety of food options as well as a giveaway of clothing and shoes.
Easter
Our Easter event includes a family party complete with games, prizes, and an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. NYRTCA's annual egg hunt has become a much loved event, and includes photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, arts & crafts, and live entertainment.
Father’s Day
For Father's Day, we celebrate the men in the backstretch community with a special gathering. The event features a fun celebration complete with ice cream and gifts, showing our gratitude and appreciation for the dads.
Breast Cancer Awareness
Our Breast Cancer Awareness event is an important initiative to support and educate the women in our community about breast cancer prevention and care. This gathering features informative presentations and resources on breast health. The event is marked by a spirit of support as well as the opportunity for individuals to connect, learn, and support one another in a meaningful way.
