Leonard & Lois Green Foundation
Leonard C. Green has had a long and distinguished career as an entrepreneur, nationally known tax expert, and family business consultant. He is the chairman and founder of The Green Group, a New Jersey-based tax and financial services consulting firm.
Len is a prominent Adjunct Professor or Lecturer at numerous colleges and for more than 15 years has taught two of the most highly rated entrepreneurship classes at Babson College (ranked the number one entrepreneurship college in the United States). He is listed in Who’s Who in U.S. College Professors.
He has been an owner, advisor, or investor in over a dozen businesses including DJ Stable LLS, a Thoroughbred racing operation and several professional sports teams.
Furthermore, Len was one of the original investors of the NASDAQ publicly traded Blue Buffalo pet food company, the fifth largest company in the United States in this category.
He holds an accounting degree from Rutgers University, a master degree (taxation) from New York University and is a graduate of the Owner and President Management Program at Harvard University.
Green is an author and has contributed articles to numerous business publications in addition to making countless speeches and television appearances.
