Peter M. Brant

Peter M. Brant of Palm Beach, FL is an industrialist, businessman, art collector and philanthropist as well as a prominent Thoroughbred owner. In addition to being an avid and highly rated polo player, he has owned or co-owned several outstanding Thoroughbreds, including 1984 Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes winner Swale. His champions have included Waya (FR), Just A Game (IRE), Gulch and, most recently Sistercharlie (IRE). He also raced multiple stakes winners Track Barron and Mogambo. Mr. Brant and his White Birch Farm, Inc., returned to racing in 2016 and has campaigned stakes winners Bleecker Street, Blowout (GB), Dunbar Road, Fifty Five, My Sister Nat (FR), Raging Bull (FR), Regal Glory and Wow Cat (CHI), among others.  Fifty Five was named the New York-Bred Champion Three Year Old Filly of 2017.  Mr. Brant has been a longtime supporter of the New York division of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America both in New York and also at Payson Park, Indiantown, Florida.
